    George is a 3 and D guy, but he's not just a 3 and D guy.

Worried about shots, not PG. He's great

Just combine Aminu's, Harkless' and Crabbe's shots, and give them to PG.

Well it is a copycat league and regardless of who wins between the Warriors and the Cavs, you would think that PG (and any other star not playing for their first big pay day) will take notice of how many shooters each team has. Portland would only have 3, plus occasionally going into Nurk. That should not be a problem.

GSW manages to find enough shots for Durant, Curry, Thompson, Draymond and a cast of ring chasers.

A high scoring, fast paced offense helps everyone get their's and keeps them all happy.

    Winning also helps.

To play devils advocate, neither Thompson nor Draymond need the ball in their hands the way McCollum does. The good news is McCollum strikes me as the type of guy that would sacrifice for the team and he's a lethal spot up shooter, so I don't see too much of a problem. But McCollum will have to sacrifice more than anyone.

If you can get PG without giving up Dame/CJ/Nurk: Just do it.

    C.J. averaged 23.0 PTS/G on 18.0 FGA/G. Klay averaged 22.3 PTS/G on 17.6 FGA/G. Very similar numbers. So, I don't think C.J. will have to sacrifice too much.

If anything, his efficiency should go up. He's a deadly catch and shoot 3-point shooter, and unlike the last two years, he'd always have at least one other elite scorer with him on the floor at all times. None of this C.J. and 4 bums stuff where defenses can just key in on stopping him. With Dame, PG13 and Nurk, C.J. would see a lot fewer double teams. He may not have the ball in his hands for as many seconds per possession, but he'd have to work a lot less for his shots.

Just curious if anyone here has been checking other team discussion forums to see what fantasy scenarios other fan bases are concocting in the Paul George Sweepstakes.

We seem to have a lot to offer both IND and PG13. We seem to have enough to give IND (lots of draft picks in a deep draft and youngish "talent") to land PG13 without gutting our team (important to keeping George, if we're fortunate enough to get him) But like most fans, we tend to overvalue our own assets.

I'm just curious about what other passionate fan bases think their chances are to beat us out and land PG13.

Agree. Just not sure everyone on the team does.

Dame definitely does and he's the leader. Dame and PG13 would clearly be 1a and 1b (or vise versa). Everyone else will fall in line, like Thompson did in GSW. After his experience in DEN, Nurk was just pleased as punch to get to actually play, and to play for a team that made the playoffs.

Honestly, I think these guys really want to win. It's not like they have to pad their stats to get a big contract. Other than Nurk, who will get paid when the time comes, everyone else has already gotten their big payday.

I suppose if there is a silver lining about last summer's spending spree, it's that nobody should be bitching about being underpaid. The only two guys who would even have a somewhat legitimate beef would be Davis and Aminu, and they are both expendable and easily tradable due to their pre-inflation, team friendly contracts.

Well it seems logical or fair that CJ is willing to adapt/adjust/sacrifice if PG came to Portland since he has publicly said we should go after him and I'm sure CJ is smart enough to know what that means
