Ron, I wonder if they give Tanaka that extra day's rest before his start. Only question is how will
that have an effect on the rest of the staff?

Clippard nearly threw this game away with his masterful defense.......Idiot! And yes, Carter
    is no gazelle!

Clippard is an ass. He's creating his own damage. I do not trust this guy.

SOB.......what a POS. Came in to get two f'kin outs and gives them the lead.

Nothing annoys me more then when a reliever comes in and walks the batter. Not to mention a guy who has struck out three times on the night.

...I dunno...many Asian pitchers never get used to pitching on one day's fewer rest than they were accustomed...but Clippard managed to walk the batter he needed to retire which then forced him to face the A's best hitter...and he paid the price and so did the Yanx.

...this is 2-3 great starts by Yankee pitchers in the last week that were wasted and ended up in a loss.

Still one more inning but the offense is asleep right now. Happy to see the big bounce back game from Tanaka.

And Holder joins Clippard as he too gives up 2 more runs, this time a two run HR. These Jerks
may be getting a one way ticket to Scranton........but who knows with Cash man!

This outfit lost two of three to the Rays, struggled to get a couple from KC, now the Rudipoo A's come in and kick the Yankees Ass in their own yard. Tried to follow the game with a smartphone that was not functioning well. Looked like Headley at one point had hit into a rally killer DP. Once again the bullpen shit the bed but the offense must be held accountable as well. Good effort from Tank, poor from the rest. Note to Cashman: if time is a factor with Bird or Austin God Damn it go buy a first baseman this is the New York Yankees. Saw another deplorable article today on the current state of Yankee First Base Production. For a while the offense could not score enough because of poor pitching, now they can't score enough to support good pitching. They'd best figure things out because inner division play resumes pretty soon.

Bird looks like he will be starting his rehab stint. Hopefully can get back to what he was doing in Spring Training.
