Interesting, the Making a Murder comparisons aren't really fair. It's an interesting case.

As someone who was raised catholic I completely believe the girls/women.

    Not sure about the murder(s).

It's really good, binged it when it came out. Really well done. Definitely think cathy's murder was connected not sure about the other girl. That priest was sick man. Having cops and politicians come in and also abuse the girls?! Then they protect him and allow him to continue at all these other places. Pure corruption.

Can't compare to making a murderer but both documentaries are well done and am pretty excited to see what come see out of season 2 or part 2 of making a murderer and the developments of those cases and new findings, etc.

She was murdered, there is no debating that. It's who murdered her that isn't known.

Not sure if those were real cops or politicians. They could have just told the girls that.

Could of but given the fact that church could just protect the guy no matter what and the shadyness with the evidence and what not, makes me think the cops were corrupt to which makes that claim completely possible

Just finished watching this. Totally gripping but very frustrating - not just because Maskell died in his bed, but because you know there are so many people walking around who were part of his circle. How the fuck does the Catholic Church justify moving him around all the time? I'll never understand why they do that with pedophiles. Why not just kick 'em out, like when the boy's mother complained in '67? Are they really that much more invested in their priests than they are in their parishioners? I don't get it.

What's the biggest mystery is the second girl who was killed, two days after sister Cathy. Apparently there was also a third not even mentioned in the series.

The two older lady investigators should get their own series - they were awesome. Real life Murder She Wrote. Also, why the hell didn't David Simon do a season of the Wire about the Catholic Church? Seems like it looms large over Baltimore.

Wow. That's a rabbit hole I don't have time to get lost down...

This is an easier place to start: http://www.thedailybeast.com/who-ki...our-the-keepers-unanswered-questions-answered

Who's your nominee for biggest liar still living? I've got to say, either Sharon May is totally on the level or she's an ice-cold liar. And really, how do you lose evidence that Maskell needed a backhoe and a grave to bury in a flood in a basement?

    Quote from that interview:
"Maybe if nothing else, there could be a spinoff of Gemma and Abby as detectives solving crimes. "

I guess everybody who watches that series probably has that thought. I hope when I retire I can be that awesome.
