I don't see how Lonzo Ball is going to be successful without the ability to really create his own shot or beat an NBA player off the dribble. That might work at other positions, but not at point guard. It's pretty much Ricky Rubio, but Rubio was A LOT more advanced in the pick and roll than Ball coming out.
