Even North Korea signed on but nope Trump is having none of it. The entire world is mocking the US right now and the republicans could give a shit.

My take is, we should begin working to save moisture fall when it runs off. The glaciers will be gone between 30N and 30S so we best learn to farm where possible while we have time.
The seas will rise until the ice melts, so begin the plan, and building dikes ain't a plan.

The rise and fall of the sea is in cycles, we have a record going back over 6 cycles. This is the first cycle where men are the dominate species on earth so I take it we do not cause the cycles.
In fact we are equal with the piss ant in having control over events of nature. Treaties are a joke that only man can create. Obama promised to stop the rise of the sea and failed
WTF is his treaty going to do? Get real people, study some science.

I haven't heard Trump's plan for this, have you? Well, maybe he delegated that to his Ag Secretary. Oh, wait, that's Perdue, a guy who thinks agriculture policy involves praying for rain (literally and seriously).

You are right about that. We have not caused the major climate cycles of the planet to date.

For better or worse, that's just not accurate.

The water is almost boiling but there are still a few frogs in the water who tell us that all is fine.

What are you gonna believe - your bankrupt ideology, or your own two eyes, or the death of your grandchildren?

All I'm seeing is hair on fire. The world is coming to an end tomorrow!

That and, "I lost so I'm going to cry, and when I don't get my way, I'm going to cry some more."

    This is all you got.

Uhhh, I'm all for us not polluting the Earth but can anyone tell me one way this agreement did anything to stop it?

Just one, I tried reading the text of the agreement and it looks to be a bunch of nothing.

It did say each country gets to decide what it's going to do as progress. Why can't we quit the agreement and do what we would have done or more or less?

This seems like an abstinence pledge you'd all scoff at.

Kyoto was a failure, too. I'm talking about what it accomplished after hundreds of countries participated.

That one went to a vote in the senate, and was rejected 97-0. I suspect this deal would have faired equally poorly if Obama had brought it to a proper vote. As it stands, it was simply a way for him to commit the country to spend even money we don't have, long after he's (good riddance) gone.
