You made a thread just to bump it, when there's 5 threads about the draft already?

Do you fear not being heard enough?

This thread needs a poll, "Will Neil Olshey Produce an Acceptable Level?" Close it June 21st and make votes public.

Can be any of the 3 picks, doesn't have to be 15.

Tony Bradley out of UNC is starting to get 1st round buzz. He's not a guy I've scouted much, but my cursory look at him makes me think he'll have a chance to stick as a high IQ+physical positional defender who's going to take up space, screen well (he doesn't right now) and be solid on the boards while not making many mistakes offensively. Wide+long frame, can't jump but moves his feet/runs the floor well for his size. Doesn't have good tools as a pnr finsher but projects as a mid range shooter who can pass a little in short roll situations and get on the offensive glass.

Still looks a like likely back-up center only big so I wouldn't look at him until the early second round.

I get the rest of the league is in "We are going to you a favor" mode. But it only makes sense to give up Crabbe and co. if we get equal talent back. Just dumping salary comes across as panic mode unless we plan to give it all to Nurkic.

Unless Allen plans to go deep into the luxury tax, Portland needs all that salary to give to Nurkic next off-season.

Then dumping Crabbe makes a lot of sense. That would probably cover it.

Not sure I understand your question. Are you asking if Orlando or the Blazers would be stupid?

I believe there are two questions here, so I will rephrase your post to something I can answer.

    Q. Should the Blazers trade all three first round picks for #6?
    A. This question is very debatable, since trading all three picks will make it more difficult for NO to make more trades on draft night. However, if there is a player still on the board that NO is 100% certain is an above average NBA starter, then make the trade. But unloading one of our bad contracts with the three picks would make the deal easier to swallow.

    Q. Who should the Blazers pick @ #6.
    A. Since I would not waste any of our first round picks on Markkanen, using #6 would be stupid and a total waste of three first round picks. We would only have Markkanen on the Blazers roster if we want a player that makes Meyers Leonard look good. That is how much I think Markkanen is overrated in this draft. Which begs the question, are the rest of the players in this highly rated draft class also overrated? Probably not, I see a couple of players I might take with #6.

Actually asking if the guy who wrote the piece is stupid? Because I also don't care for Markanen.
