I guess somebody must've switched up the rules
Cause in P-Town we got more strip clubs than schools.

Um no MF... It has been decided! We're having it at YOUR house. :ghoti:

Get your grill nice and hot :onfire:and remember the black people rule:

    Of there's no BBQ sauce, then it's a cookout not a barbecue.:biglaugh:

It's not my house but I'd rather have it at @Orion Bailey's. There are things you can't do at Jacks.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Oh, cool. I've always wanted to know the difference between a cookout and barbecue, but felt uncomfortable asking my black friends.

Just like I wouldn't ask my white friends what the difference is between mayonnaise and Miracle Whip. That's another thing I hope someone just happens to drop in casual conversation.

Miracle whip is gross. That's the difference.

Family style BBQ > over priced food at Dr. Jacks.

I've got a Costco membership and would be down to use it to help get some good dogs and beef even if I'm not available to make it that day...just let me know. If we get enough people together we should coordinate our own contributions (somebody bring paper plates/plastic silverware, a few people bring a case of their favorite beer, somebody bring the condiments, etc...)

Rather spend the day with my brothers and sisters than among a group of strangers.

There is a really good chance I'll be in Portland during draft time. If so, I'll definitely be there. I'd love to meet all of you.

I can be home by 4pm and get things ready to go if people aRe serious.
I live off of 130th and mrket Area, near david Douglass high school.

If anyone is serious about wanting a BBQ rather than dr jacks, send me a private message. I will assess and make a decision by mid next week based on how many people are truly interested.

Be careful though. If so I'll hire sly for security!!!

Great idea. I have a Costco membership too. With that said. There is a meat market near me that makes these awesome bacon burger patties. I could pick up some of those.

Well looks like this thing will go down. Should I make it family friendly or adults/blazer fans only?
I know my wife doesn't really care for sports and if someone else was hosting she would not even consider going. But then some may have kids?Talking to her about it, she would want he upstairs tv to watch her own thing, so we would not have the two tvs , but the one will be fine. Lol.
    I'm open.
The pool would be available if the weather is right.

My band just booked a show for that Tuesday night downtown at the ash st. Saloon opening up for a touring band, so the downstairs will be torn down music wise, allowing for more seats/ chairs/ bodies.
4 people already down so we would probably max out at about 15 people.

I'm tentatively a "go" for that night......and appreciate that you're offering to host it.

You mean you can't charge $11 for a can of Coors Light? Make everyone sit on hard wooden benches?
