OT London Bridge: Fatalities reported after two terrorist attacks in capital

I lived in London in 1993. My friend worked on the local newspaper for where this happened. We had an Irish flatmate. It didn't occur to us for a second to think of him differently. And isn't it funny that all you right-wing Americans get your panties in a bunch for deaths in the UK but aren't motivated to crack down on right-wing militias in your own backyard or police who shoot unarmed teenagers? Maybe, just bear with me here, maybe it has more to do with xenophobia than concern about deathrates?

 

I didn't even know about it till a few months ago hearing it on a podcast. It's insane

I don't think of muslims differently but there are quite a lot of extremist muslims out there. I can't think of other religions even as extremists who plan and kill as much as they do. So yeah between this and the embassy attack, Germany, Paris twice, etc. it's insane and brutal. To not acknowledge the issue and deflect to people on social media with their own opinions is ridiculous. I don't understand this whole progressive protect the radicals shit. Yet every other religion is shit on. It's insanity
