I saw that they were talking to Calgary and Loseipeg about him. I'd want at least a 2nd and solid prospect when you factor they'd definately lose someone to LV. Would have to find a solid backup for next year.
Rangers need to trade off Raanta, Stepan, Klein, and Nash for as many picks and prospects as possible before the expansion draft. Open up two spots to protect Lindberg and Fast. Clark is a genius evaluating talent but you have got to give him a couple years with the gun loaded to set up the next decade.
Hopefully they're working on things with moving Klein and Stepan. Even a late round pick for Klein might be ok. Nash should be here next year and that's fine as they need his 25-30 and big body. I wonder if Kovalchuk goes back to the K one more year and then can be a FA if they would be the favorite to sign him, say 3y/13m or so. I'm sure the Devils don't want that but he would be smart to do it and play in the Olympics. He could really help our pp.
I amazed at how incompetent the writers are of this team that they think they are going to expose Lindberg to be taken by Vegas. No freakin chance. They will make multiple deals to not let that happen.
You would like to think they'd prevent it, but that's quite a few moves to make to prevent him from getting exposed. I don't know but I hope he doesn't get taken.
He's definately going to be exposed, all we can do is hope. I saw a Stepan for Galchenyuk rumbling today.
