Can be about anything! Politics is just what comes to mind first when you think of the word "debate".</div>While that is true, I guess I should have specified. This is a political/current events debate. Sorry for not clearing that up.
So I guess this isn't going to happen?I would really like to do it still, but we need some more people. But I guess no one wants to do it because they all know I'd beat their asses.
You don't even have to ask me Captain. I'll fight. Perhaps it's time we set up topics. I have some suggestions for getting started. It strikes me that there are a variety of commonly divisive topics: Abortion, Gay Marriage, Iraq War, Racial Profiling, Immigration, etc... There's also sports.Perhaps we should first find out where everybody stands before you bracket the participants. This board seems too intelligent to have 8 right-wingers that know how to use spellcheck, but I could be wrong.Throw out a before and against topic, let everybody say, "Check." The hard part is finding a group of judges that are objective beyond reproach. Then we can get it on.
