My niece was going to enroll in OSU and stay with us her freshman year...she's Taiwanese.....now she's afraid to go to school here and will go to Melbourne to study..my inlaws over there feel it's a risky environment for her given the tensions and particularly the stabbing incident in Portland recently....a lot of young people are following suit..it's going to snowball...

    Nonsense.

Trump's election has moved the markets significantly higher and given employers optimism about their future prospects, enough to hire. And then there's companies moving less jobs overseas.

    What tariffs?

I guess I should have put (SIC) in my post so you wouldn't confuse my alliteration with something else. I wrote "idiocy," I meant "idiocy." If the foo shits, wear it. (SIC)

Trump is already taking a victory lap for bringing back the muscle jobs. The U.S. added 26,000 factory jobs in February and 11,000 in March. It's a contrast to the Obama years when most of the job gains came in the service sector -- tech, retail, business, health, etc. -- not in manufacturing.
That's about 10% of the jobs added those months, and it's been many more since.
