<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Indianapolis Star -Ron Artest was arrested on Monday morning at his surburan Sacramento home on charges of domestic violence, the Sacramento Bee reported.Sheriff's deputies responded to a woman's 911 call at 9:23 a.m. and arrested Artest after interviewing the woman and Artest, the paper reported.Artest was arrested a charge of domestic violence and of using force or violence to prevent his victim from reporting a crime, officials told the Bee. He was booked into the Placer County Jail.</div>Source: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/450...iolence_charge/Jesus, this guy always seems to be in trouble one way or another... he could have been one of the top ten players in the league if he wasn't so damn crazy with all his on and off court problems.Do you think that this will finally get the Kings to put him on the block? I mean, he worked out in Sacramento when Bonzi was there, but I think the Kings need to get rid of him and possibly Bibby. All Artest does is cause their offense to slow down with all his isolation play, and takes touches away from Kevin Martin. Also, if they do decide to trade him, do you think anybody out there will be willing to take him, or is he just going to be stuck in SAC?
Funny thing is, I was reading an article on Artest's 'advice column that he writes every so often, where emails ask him questions... My advice for you Mr. Artest, don't hit women you piece of garbage.
Nothing new, he's a headcase and always will be. Anyways, we could use him and I'd be willing to take him. Our offense has slowed down a ton with Wade out and being more revolvent around Shaq. Not sure what we could give up, but if we get him and he keeps his head straight (somehow) this could really put us over the top in my opinion. He could even come in as a starter, just kick Kapono out of the starting lineup, I know he's our best shooter but I simply can't stand his defense anymore.

The trade deadline is over and unless the kings release him then we aren't going to get him, I don't think the kings will buy him out either.

Yeah over the summer too, although for some reason I was thinking of a past deadline waiver rule trade thing, but thats obviously baseball.
David Stern should suspend him indefinately. What kind of message is he trying to send to the people that look up to him, our youth.

There have been tons of players that have done this over the years, you can't just single out Artest.
Jesus christ, this guy is a friggen headcase. Some people just don't undrstand...<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KobeBryant_24 @ Mar 5 2007, 07:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>David Stern should suspend him indefinately. I'm sort of disappointed. I saw the thread title and expected something much deeper. This is like nothing really, coming from the Mike Tyson of the NBA.
If the league suspends him it will probably be for like 4 games or so, I don't think it will be anything to severe but I still think he'll get a suspension or a fine at least.
