The league has no right to suspend him for this... if anything the only people that could suspend him are the Kings.

Or was that the warriors? I thought he got some sort of suspension.

Hahah....What a loser. I cant stand this scumbag. He just cant seem to stay out of trouble for longer than a year. He is a pretty good basketball player, but his off court and even on court attitude sucks.

How do we do he did anything? Well he probably did but I'm just saying he's not guilty until proven guilty if that was the case than kobe should of been suspended for rape since thats a worse offense but just like Kobe Artest even with his history isn't guilty until proven so.

He is technically employed by the Kings... therefore they have the right to suspend him.

He should be suspended. Any athlete that is getting paid millions of dollars and has a history of violence (numerous fights, JUMPING INTO THE STANDS AND CHOKING FANS) and hits women should be suspended and fined. It's pathetic, looks like that anger management worked real well... :no1:

I think if Ron Artest took medication for whatever disorder he has, he'd be fine. But he refuses to take pills... :no3:

It was his wife....This is from some Kings blogger<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>We didn't believe them. They told us he'd be a headache, more trouble than he was worth. They said he'll never change - once a thug, always a thug. They called him a ticking timebomb, they called us risk takers, they told us to enjoy the honeymoon. They acknowledged his excellent game, but emphasized his historically checkered judgment. We ignored it. We said we'd deal with that when it came. We enjoyed the moment - the inspiring run to end 2005-06, the hellaciously fun playoff run against the Spurs, the offseason of wild, wild dreams. When he started calling out teammates, we got a bit nervous. When his dogs got taken away for abuse, we shook our heads. When he he told the coach and his fans to ..., we got worried. And now that he's been arrested for spousal abuse? We realize we got burned.Things were on a definite downslide w/r/t the Artest Era before today. Now, the damage is irrevocable. It's hard to cheer a locker room cancer, a guy who doesn't take care of his dogs, a general ***hole. It's more difficult - impossible - to cheer a guy who hits his wife. He'll play again this season in the royal purple and white. But the era has ended. The love affair is over</div>:no3:What a scumbag.

Deputies Have Responded To Five 911 Calls From Artest's HomeDeputies have responded to five 911 calls from Kings forward Ron Artest's home since last August, including two domestic disturbances between Artest and his wife, Kimsha. The previous incidents became known after Artest's arrest Monday, when a woman inside his home in a Sacramento suburb called 911 and said she had been assaulted. Artest slapped the woman's face and grabbed her repeatedly, causing visible injuries, according to a sheriff's report. [READ]
