Does he then have 'the right' so to speak to complain about his situation yet again? It's been 3 seasons now where he's been kind of a distraction during some point in the year. It's like, after a while you have to stop hating your job/complaining and just move on. I think this summer is his last chance, if he doesn't leave, it's his fault and he should stop talking out about it.

yeah, if he doesn't leave he never gets to complain about not winning a ring.

Yes...the guy is in his 11th f*cking season, and he still doesn't have any help. If I were him, I would tell Kevin McHale that if he doesn't put together a winning team, then he's out. I really want to see KG win more than anyone in this league. He deserves it the most in my opinion. He got to the WCF once, but other than that it's been one and dones, and the last 2 years the T-Wolves havn't even reached the playoffs. They have a top 5 player in the league, and they aren't able to reach the playoffs. That's ridiculous.

How does Garnett make the decision though? It really comes down to Minny, KG will not opt out.

Minne and Kevin Mchale would be pretty stupid to just let him opt out without trading him and getting something in return. If Garnett did opt out I don't think anybody would hold it against him. The man has been extremely loyal, hardworking, and just an outstanding player for Wolves while keeping his mouth shut. (excluding his recent comment about opt outs) IMO if he opts out to win a title elsewhere I don't believe people will look down upon it as if he gave up. He has done everything he can.

I personally think that Kevin Garnett is just "quietly" waiting until he is able to opt out of his contract, and then he'll do that. That way he won't go back on his word of being "loyal" to the T'Wolves because he wouldn't have demanded a trade. But I agree that if he wants to win a ring, he needs to get out of Minnesota. I know he's smart enough to realize that he won't get a ring in Minny, especially with McHale running the show... so he needs to decide what's more important to him: loyalty or a ring.

KG wines about the T-Wolves not doing anything... and Kobe doesn't wine about Mitch not doing anything.....at least I hope he doesn't and we don't know about it.
