    Serious question for those of you champing at the bit for Neil to do something...

    Would you rather suffer through a boring draft tomorrow and perhaps another year or two of mediocrity but do so knowing that the Blazers had a ~90% chance of winning a championship in the next decade...

    -- or --

    Have Neil do something that you deem as exciting tomorrow, but that ultimately handicaps our chances at winning a championship -- let's say to 20%?

    Obviously I'm pulling those numbers out of thin air, so the timing and context of big moves are SO important in the long term, Neil can't afford to get it wrong, or we legitimately risk PA dying without winning a title. I love Dame, and am generally not a fan of Dwight, but patience and poise might be extremely important in the short term, depending on what's out there...

    Hmmm.....you know, there is a chance Olshey recognized Nurk's talent and fit with our team. There's a chance, as a general manager of an NBA team, he wasn't "lucky." There's a chance......he knew what he was doing. There's a chance......he wasn't surprised by the outcome.

    If by close of business today Olshey hasn't at least gotten us Paul George and Porzingis - while keeping Dame, CJ and Nurk - then his ass needs to go. If any other stars get mentioned in possible trades, by any team across the league, well he better get us those guys as well. I've had enough!

    I'm surprised to hear there were people pissed about that trade. I for one was ready to trade Plumlee since the previous year's playoffs, and I was ecstatic with the trade for Nurkic. To me it was the (purchased?) draft pick that was the bonus, not the other way around as some have suggested.
