Not putting this in the Comparison board because this is a good issue and that board sucks and I hate it.AI vs. KGWhen asked, "Who deserves a title most?" There are 3 responses: KG, AI, and nobody. In light of the recent KG thread where some laker fan guy said that he wants to see KG win it more than anyone else, it got me thinking: more people probably would say KG than AI. I think they forget how legendary AI is, and perhaps that he's ringless.I'd say that AI is definitely more HOF bound, though they'll both make it in, I'd say he's more HOF bound and thus should 'deserve' a ring more.

J-Kidd should also be mentioned in that category of great players with no rings. NO player deserves a ring, you earn it.AI has had better supporting casts throughout his career and in a much weaker conference, so I'd say that I feel for KG a bit more and would like to see him succeed a bit more.

Lol AI had better supporting casts than Kidd, and KG!! AI's supporting casts have consisted of Dikembe, Eric Snow, Aaron Mckee, Kenny Thomas, Raja Bell(when he was terrible), Iggy, Korver, and a Webber who couldnt run/jump! AI's title run teams starting 5 was this! Snow,Iverson, Mckee, Thomas, Mutumbo I believe! So im saying AI deserves a ring before Jkidd and KG

If I had to choose who I'd rather see win a ring out of those guys, I'm obviously picking Iverson since I'm an AI fan. But being as unbiased as I could possibly be, this is probably the order I'd like to see them win a ring: Kidd, Iverson, KG.Man, the Sixers drafted so many solid young players, but Brown traded them away for veterans (see Larry Hughes), and we passed up on so many possible All-Stars to pair Iverson with (see Paul Pierce and Dirk). Not to mention King just completely screwed us over with his horrible tenure as a GM (which is unfortunately continuing).

Dikembe was a defensive player of the year at that time, and the rest were all good role players. They were in the ridiculuosly weak East.KG hasn't had much in his career, and while I do blame him for not getting out of the first round more than once, his teammates have been pretty crappy. He had to face teams like the Jazz, Lakers, and Spurs in the 1st round. As for Kidd, he didn't have much with NJ but carried them to the Finals. Again, weak East, but they also almost pushed SA to a game 7 in the '03 Finals. He had Kerry Kittles, a young and very raw RJ, K-Mart, and not too much else.

Neither deserve a championship. Simple as that.

I know that but at least answer the 2nd question. If you had 1 pick for a HOFer out of the 2, who'd it be?

If I had one ballot and could only let one of the two in the HOF...I'd probably pick Allen Iverson.

For the HoF discussion...AI. The best player 6'0" or smaller ever in the NBA IMO. He hold records for playoff PPG, up ther ein season PPG, has mulitiple scoring championships, 10 seasons of 2SPG or better, has recently added great playmaking to his game, is clutch, and brought his team to the Finals and past 1st round a few times.

If I had to pick one guy who I would want to have a ring more, I would go with Allen Iverson. The way he puts his heart in to each and every game, his physical size, and the fact that he has been SO good for SO long. I just love it.....He is one of the best scorers in NBA history, and he has led a farily bad team to a Finals appearance. I would want to see him win one over KG.

I can't really answer this question because I would be bias about my answer (especially since KG is one of my favorite players of all time). I'm going to leave it as:Nobody deserves a ring; dudes have to earn it.

Allen Iverson had his chance and lost. KG hasn't gotten to the finals yet, so I'd say Iverson.

Garnett once had Cassell and Sprewell. He failed to win I think in the Western Conference finals? He won MVP that year but lost to a tough Laker team. AI had his chance and lost to another tough Laker team.I dunno which one to pick. Prob AI maybe because of his weak supporting cast

I would pick AI because of the dedication and heart he has put into playing the game for this long is almost inspiring. He's never really had another player who could take a lot of the load off before until he came to Denver. Seein KG get 1 would be great too, but for now I'd go with Iverson.

lol true, fans of these two should absolutely hate the lakers. If not, you're not a real KG/AI fan. I love KG for one, and I've always hated the lakers.
