    Collins is the American Porzingis?

I see Collins as closer to someone like Aldridge tbh. Maybe a lil less skill but more shot blocking. @MickZagger how off am I with this comp?

Why couldn't he play next to Nurkic. As far as footwork and lateral quickness goes for a 7ft'er Collin is about as good as it gets. His jumper is wet and he didn't really get to showcase it at Gonzaga.

If this deal goes down we will have the best young big man tandem in the NBA. No doubt.

My impression is that Porzingis missed his exit interview because of how Phil Jackson was treating Melo. Just a guess.

Bruh Collins is wet. He has wayyyy more range the LA and quicker feet. KP is the comparison to me. The only unknown really is can he put the ball on the floor and attack the basket the same way KP can. I think he's shown flashes of that ability and when a real coach gets ahold of him... Sky is the limit. He's gunna be a special player.

Not far off at all. Hybrid 4, can play 5 as well. He has excellent footwork down low, but honestly I think Collins will be most effective offensively out on the perimeter, opening things up for Nurk. He can also play the 5 when Nurkic is getting a breather. Defensively, he has great timing and decent strength and is a block machine. This would be a cool version of the twin towers.

Porzingis can score off the dribble. Can Collins?

That Collins outside jumper looks SLOW to me. Like Meyers slow. Easy to close out on and sag off from.

Exactly. He's a mixture of a traditional PF and an old school PF. He has both.

@Mediocre Man would you be fine with getting him because he's a WABPF and not a WABC?

He misused Collins for sure. But, the offense Few runs is actually pretty damn effective. I think Few was purposely not showcasing Collins because he wanted him to stay and doesn't want to become a factory mill for one and doners.

It looks as slow because he brings the ball up just as fast as Meyers. However, the ball has to travel a much smaller distance for Collins because he has a compact stroke (Meyers brings the ball up far away from his body, further slowing his shooting speed).

Watch Collins shoot in game action. He'll have no problem getting shots off.

Just sayin good coaches fit their scheme to a player's strengths I'm convinced Few just had no idea what he had in collins and he was a team player all year until he turned it up for the turney. Then everyone was able to see just how good he really was.

Gonzaga hardcore fans knew how good he was. If you watched all the games this year it was obvious that he does stuff as a 7ft'er that you can't teach. It was no surprise at all to me when he burst onto the scene during the tourney.

He was Few's first ever McDonalds All-American. He knew what he had.

Fair enough. I just don't see that he has to work as a stretch 4 to work with Nurk. I can see both of them trading off in the high post and post while the guards are the deep threats.

They could play many different ways and styles together.
