What constitution amendments would you like to see added to the US constitution? For me, I'd like to see a term limit added to Senators and Representitives. I don't think it's right that someone can basically become a career Senator. I think there should be a term limit of 2 terms or 14 years as a senator(if a senator is selected to replace another one who has died, or left half way through their team, sort of like with the 22nd amendment and the President), and a 3 term limit 6 years for a representitive.Another thing I'd like to see added is an admendment blocking admendments which have nothing to do with the original legislation on Bills. one such example is one party trying to tack on some agenda BS onto a bill which is really needed. The Democrats did that a few years ago to a major infastructure bill which would have really helped this country out, the Dems attached some BS anti-gun legislation and then the Republicans didn't vote for the Bill. I think if only pertinent admendments should be on bills. so if a road construction bill in in congress, only things which would effect that bill should be added.
I don't really like the idea of limiting the number or terms or years someone can serve in the house or senate just like I don't agree with the two term limit for the president. I believe the people should have the right to vote for anyone as many time they would like. granted this country has more then its fair share of idiots but by setting limits on eligibility all that ends up doing is taking more power away from the people.

Having people like Robert Byrd/Strom Thurmond...etc...sitting in government for 40 years is ridiculous...Getting fresh people in those seats is the best thing. Thats why we have term limits for presidents, of course the senate/congress want term limits for who's in charge but they would never vote for term limits for themselves for obvious reasons.
