Knicks are such a wreck that they are willing to trade KP.

It seems PJax is waiting out Melo's contract. He inherited Melo and not re-signing him would have been a political disaster.
Signing Noah and trading for Rose? They both can still play some, just not enough. Noah's contract may be one of the worst in the league.
