<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Georgetown junior forward Jeff Green was selected the Big East player of the year on Tuesday in a vote of the league's coaches.

The 6-foot-9 Green averaged 13.6 points and 3.5 assists, both team highs, and grabbed 5.9 rebounds in leading the Hoyas to their first regular season title since 1989. He is the first Georgetown player to win the award since Alonzo Mourning in 1992.</div>

:yahoo: YES! I love Jeff Green. He's so versatile and athletic. He does everything on the floor. I think this kid is going to be a good player in the NBA, watch out for him, he has a ton of talent. I'm so happy one of my Georgetown boys won it, he deserved it.

    GO HOYAS!

Then you must not watch college basketball. Jeff Green is one of the most versatile players in the country.

Well deserved.. I think Green will turn out to be a Danny Granger/Ryan Gomes type player.
