    Who was the Blazer’s most improved player last season? (Excluding Nurkic)

    One way for teams to improve their depth is with player development. I’m trying to gauge if we made any progress last season, from within?

    What are your thoughts, did we develop any players last season? Who and by how much did they improve?

    I'd say Vonleh was most improved.

    Harkless, Crabbe, Vonleh and Connaughton all improved their 3pt percentages.

    I thought Vonleh made a jump especially with Nurkic. Pat surprised me also.

    Layman needs to improve if he's here next year.

    Meyers really improved his cheering front the bench. Added a counterclockwise towel twirl to his clockwise one. And that clap clap foot stomp thing he does.... genius!

    Many improved, but Vinleh gets my vote too. Lots of little things more than a single stat.

    Most improvement? Turner improved pretty significantly from when he began with us, but his skills were never really the question. His fit and mesh was improving.

    Noah or Crabbe probably improved skills the most. Probably Noah. Crabbe still can't dribble.

    I have to go with C.J. I think many people overlook how much he improved last year simply because he won MIP the previous year. The guy's continued improvement is astonishing to me and the reason I have never been on the trade C.J. or bring C.J. off the bench bandwagons.

    He has improved ALL of his shooting percentages EVERY year he's been in the league. To me, his improved percentages in 2016-17 were most impressive because after winning the MIP in 2015-16 he was already considered a great shooter.

    Look at these shooting percentages and the constant improvement from one year to the next:

    C.J. McCollum:
    2013-14: .416 FG%, .375 3FG%, .449 2FG%, .500 eFG%, .676 FT%, .521 TS%
    2014-15: .436 FG%, .396 3FG%, .460 2FG%, .511 eFG%, .699 FT%, .534 TS%
    2015-16: .448 FG%, .417 3FG%, .463 2FG%, .517 eFG%, .827 FT%, .544 TS%
    2013-14: .480 FG%, .420 3FG%, .506 2FG%, .544 eFG%, .912 FT%, .585 TS%

    Just look at those huge jumps in eFG% and TS% the season AFTER he won MIP.

    Also, look at the improvement in his FT shooting. His first two seasons, he was a below average FT shooter. The Crabbe fanboys like to constantly remind us he was 2nd in the league in 3FG% but no one here ever mentions that C.J. led the entire league in FT% in 2016-17.

    Other guys showed improvement simply because they had huge weaknesses in their game that needed serious work. It's easier to get better at something when you suck at it. Any improvement at all is readily apparent. C.J,. took something that was already a strength and took it to an entirely new level. That, to me, is more impressive.

    Id go with CJ then Vonleh.

    Both improved the most mentally in my opinion.
    CJ now has the true swagger and Vonleh looked into the mirror and saw a beast at the end of the season...possibly for the first time....

    CJ and Pat Con.
    I read somewhere, and i cannot remember where or find the quote, but Stotts said Pat Con was the most improved. I have to give some weight to this statement.

    I also say CJ for the same reasons as BNM. He's the only one whose improvement had any measurable significance to the team.
