I saw Kobe elbow Blankey in the throat. At the Rose Garden. Foul, Blankey.

But I think those types of things were relatively rare for Kobe, compared to Chris Paul actually trying to injure our guys on multiple occasions. Fuck that guy.

We just don't have great luck with Spanish players in Portland...makes me wonder about Rubio fitting in......he's talked with Rudy and Victor I'm sure

Rubio makes zero sense on this roster as constructed.

I like rubio but i dont see the point in adding another contract as much as his without dumping a crabbe or turner.

I would way rather go after Patrick Beverly on a better contract. And dude can actually hit a shot.

Meh. I doubt that would be an issue. The Blazers culture seems to be pretty solid these days. And how long has Rubio been playing in the great white wasteland of Minnesota? It's not exactly the Iberian Peninsula. If Rubio got traded here, it would be up to him to fit in. Off the bench, playing defense, setting up teammates. He'd make Crabbe and Meyers look like they were worth their contracts.

I think the culture is vastly different here now.

I would hate that guy on my team. Not a fan of his brand of cheap shit tactics. I prefer watching basketball.

I like Shabazz Napier better than Rubio for our team...we have 3 guards and a ball handling wing now...

Daniel Diez disagrees! Just kidding but you could be right...we just have struck out with Spanish league players ....and Rubio has zero offensive game.

Not sure they would want Ed. They have bigs. Lowry will help with their shooting but they still could use more.

If I am Minnesota I keep Rubio for his last year as they will need a backup PG. Maybe trade him at the deadline for more shooting. Plus I don't think we can afford a backup PG who will be making Rubio's current or future salary. That position will be reserved for players on their rookie contract or veteran minimum.

Bazz can definitely shoot it, and his defense is surprisingly adequate, thanks to quickness and effort.

Rubio's contract expires in 2019, if we sent Meyers as part of a package then we shed that a season earlier.

If the Celtics are trying to land both, they'll likely get rid of Crowder.

I would immediately jump into 3 team negotiations with IND and BOS, offering Davis/Aminu and a 2018 1st to IND to her Crowder from BOS.

Crowder makes a ton of sense because he's a good all-around player for extremely cheap, and would make Crabbe expendable, which get us under the tax line. Trade Aminu and we'd have our full MLE.

JAE CROWDER IS THE KEY TO OUR OFF-SEASON FLEXIBILITY AND IMPROVEMENT.
