He should've been traded with everyone else last season. I'm sure a team like the Nationals would've take him for a nice return. Absolutely soft and completely overrated. Guy throws 100 MPH and what was that tonight seven straight breaking pitches? A hideously blown save with the walks and hit batter.

For a big kid with an overpowering fastball, he reminds me a lot of unsuccessful Kenley Jansen in yrs prior, .....

Perhaps he needs a bit of moving the ball around, without the routine fb, curve, change-up, or his fastball needs a helluva lot more movement on it, ie Rob Dibble, Eric Gagne, and of course Goose. Goose it seems had more batters K, because they were guessing where the ball was going.....I'd imagine he'd have a decent return on a trade also. Makes me miss Miller more every outing, same with Chapman, would of rather had Miller; as easy as it is to say now....

Miller is the best of the bunch. I guess can't complain about what they got in the two trades but I've had it watching Betances.

It is obvious Betances cannot be used three consecutive games. For such a big person, he shows little
stamina. He is worthless tonight. But the way the whole relief staff is pitching, it is a crapshoot to come
up with one who can excel. I can see Trashcanman's carousel begin to go round and round. Problem is
I do not see it stopping!

Hey Dellin, real white of you to state that you were the reason for the Yankees Loss on the 5th of July. Son of a Bitch, those of us who saw anther failed attempt from you may not have known that. I have to believe that no matter what your team mate say in public, in private the name dirtbag or worse enters their minds when you're sent to pitch. Instead of "accepting the blame" why don't you concentrate on improving your game and maybe the Yankees can get you out of town. Per River Avenue Blues this team is not just playing bad, they are on the verge of a total collapse which could complete itself in the next series.

I wouldn't of expected that horrid of a a month out of a single A rookie, or high school pitcher with no minor league experience; making his pro-debut. He's walked 17 batters of his last 28 batters faced; and hit two more. Ryne Duren had more control without wearing his coke bottle glasses...Reminds me how Steve Sax had to see a Sports Shrink for a couple of years when he was playing 2nd for the Bums; and could not toss, a throw to first to save his ass and get the out, hysterically wild for a couple yr there when he was breaking in L.A. or vice versa.

For July only his, Betances ERA is 22.50-
His ERA vs Lefties is impressive at .071, vs Righties 5.52, what's wrong with this pic???

9.0 - ERA with bases loaded (regardless of outs, counts or inning)
    13.50 - ERA with men on 1st and 3rd ( "-----")
    18.00 ERA with runners on 2nd and 3rd ( "-----")
    9.00 ERA with runners on 3rd ( "-----")

No doubt the Yanx will march on, business as usual, kinda sorta, atypical modus operandi; instead of figuring out this debacle of a melt down failure; and how to fix it once and for all. The Yanx could and should have some success in trade talks, IF it becomes a buyers/sellers active market...?¿?¿

¿¿ -Hook 'em quick b4 hell breaks loose, no 2nd chances at redemption- ¿¿
