This is great news. I can finally get cheap
clipper tickets again and the bandwagon fans will leave with only the nicer long time fans remaining.

Yes. Dame and CJ are less self absorbed.

Not great, but resoundingly better than what the Blazers got for Aldridge.

The Houston cap doctor sure bent the rules to get this deal done.

No, I can't and don't. That sounds like a massive logical leap based on several inherently improbable assumptions.

Debatable... at least we don't have a black hole in the frontcourt anymore

That is my answer. People here will defend their guys no matter what. People here hate Draymond Green because he gets under peoples skin, but love Nurk for doing the same thing.....which they should.

That thread is a lot like threads here. Nothing wrong with it.

What Draymond does is not "get under people's skin."

He could legitimately hurt someone with his flailing and kicking. Let that dude kick you in the balls and then tell me that he's just "getting under your skin."

If you don't think this forum is filled with threads like that then you don't read them.

You seriously just compared Nurks Antics(?) to that of D.Green and his Nut Crunching kicks?

We must not watch the same sport, or the same teams or something....
cause I cant take you seriously with this ... at all....

The fact of the matter is that there is no legitimate reason to assume CP3 and The Beard cannot co-exist. It is easy to question it as they are both ball dominant guards, but CP3 has openly said he would like some of the pressure of handling the ball so much taken away from him. CP3 is at least as good as Beverley on defense and is FAR BETTER on offense. It is certainly a possibility that they could make this work. It is also easy to argue that CP3 and The Beard are both better than any player we have on our roster.

They could make it work. The reason why people think it won't is because both are used to being leaders of their teams in recent years, and have heavily relied on carrying the ball.

They are probably both better than whatever Blazers have, however the supporting cast they are likely to have there is not very good and could end up hurting their chances. They are virtually playing with Ariza, Gordon, Anderson, Capela and nobody else, and it's not like Anderson is a very good player either.

Potentially they did better, if those young guys turn out to be good. But an argument can be made for cap space too. Hard to remember what we were able to do without LMA's contract because we also lost Wes's and Rolo's at the same time, but we did add Harkless and Plumbs with unbalanced trades.....plus Aminu. And of course Plumbs turned into Nurk......

If you are located in the LA market....wouldn't cap space he a good option? Even if you are the Clips?

The advantage is one will always be on the court while one rests or is injured. So that makes them better.

But they are both such prima donnas on the court it will be interesting to see if they can get along. The olympic team was more of a vacation compared to a long season. Harden I think will be fine , it is Cp3 that it will effect the most IMO. He will need to be more of a bystander . He and Crawford did not mesh well when on the court at the same time, for that reason.
