Saw Moonlight. Amazing film about betrayal and identity. Also fucking sad as hell. Bad Day At Black Rock. Very important film about hate crimes and the mob mentality. Plus there is just something about watching Ernest Borgnine get beat up.... Modern Problems. Cute forgotten little film that has aged very well and shows how funny Chevy Chase once was.
Moana. Avoided it because, well not sure why. Thought it was fabulous and beautiful to look at. The shiny crab was awesome. Trumbo, meant to rent it a long time ago but didn't. It was free on Amazon prime so we watched it. I don't know how accurate it was or wasn't but it was very entertaining as well.
Watched Life last night. Very entertaining even though not groundbreaking new territory for an alien life in space movie. Still good.
Just saw Wonder Woman and thought it was GREAT. I had been resisting it. So glad I changed my mind. Gal Gadot is fantastic in it! Apparently she only made 300K lol? Wow.
I watched it since that post but didn't comment on it... I think I saw it at least, maybe I'm thinking of avengers 2. Thanks for the offer though, appreciate that. My sister and her husband usually buy the hot new movies, so if it's not something I want to own myself I generally borrow it from them.
Moana - loved it. The songs are catchy, the movie waa funny and very well made. 9/10. Trolls - i was pretty bored thoughout the movie. I liked that they had some older songs throughout the movie though. 4/10. Get out - nice suspenseful movie. Interesting plot and some creepy acting. 8/10.
The movie was pretty damn good. I liked all the songs but the crab is just perfect. Also, the movie wasn't just song after song. I'd watch a movie entirely about her chicken.
My wife couldn't stop laughing about the chicken. I'm a little biased, but everything The Rock is involved in I enjoy nowadays.
Damnit just saying those two words is enough to get that song stuck in my head. My niece and nephew are obsessed with the music from Moana. I agree, great movie. Not better than beauty and the beast and little mermaid though. I'd say Moana is probably my third favorite princess movie.
