I have predictions for 16 different signings and 7 different trades. Lets seem how many I can get right! What's your predictions? Which one of these seems most likely?

    MY FREE AGENT PERIOD PREDICTIONS:
    SAN ANTONIO
trades L. Aldridge to MIAMI for T. Johnson, 2020 MIA 1st
    - Miami's plan will be to trade for Aldridge to try to convince Hayward to sign, and then that might convince Wade to sign after he is bought out. This would give them a starting lineup of Dragic/Wade/Hayward/Aldridge/Whiteside
    - San Antonio does this to clear cap space. They trade Green to BKN with T.Johnson replacing him, giving them $50M in sap space.
SAN ANTONIO signs G. Hill, P. Gasol, and James Johnson
    - They boast a starting lineup of Hill/T.Johnson/Leonard/J.Johnson/Gasol
    BOSTON signs G. Hayward
3-TEAM TRADE: BOSTON gets: P. George INDIANA gets: M. Harkless, A. Aminu, N. Vonleh, M. Smart, 2018 POR 1st, Picks from BOS, PORTLAND gets: T. Young, J. Crowder
    - Boston has a starting lineup of Thomas/George/Hayward/Johnson/Horford
    - Portland has a starting lineup of Lillard/McCollum/Crowder/Young/Nurkic

    WASHINGTON trades I. Mahinmi, M. Morris, J. Smith, 2018 and 2020 1st to L.A.CLIPPERS for Blake Griffin (S&T)
    TORONTO trades J. Valanciunas, L.Nogueira, J. Poeltl, 2019 1st to L.A.CLIPPERS for DeAndre Jordan
HOUSTON trades Ariza, Gordon, min. salary players, 2020 1st Round Pick to NEW YORK for Carmelo Anthony
MINNESOTA trades R. Rubio, G.Dieng to NEW YORK for Eric Gordon (from HOU)
MINNESOTA signs J. Teague, P. Patterson
    - MIN Lineup: Teague/Butler/Wiggins/Patterson/Towns
MIAMI signs D. Gallinari after missing out on G. Hayward. They also sign JJ Redick.
    - MIA starting lineup: Dragic/Redick/Gallinari/Aldridge/Whiteside
    CLEVELAND signs D. Wade
HARDAWAY, PORTER, KCP, and NOEL all get contracts over $20M per year.
    DENVER signs J. Holiday
DENVER trades K. Faried, D. Arthur to BROOKLYN in order to clear cap space to sign P. Millsap
    Denver Lineup: Holiday/Harris/Chandler/Millsap/Jokic
    TORONTO resigns Ibaka, Lowry

    2017-2018 Conference Standings Predictions:
    WEST: 1.) Warriors 2.) Spurs 3.) Rockets 4.) Blazers 5.) T'Wolves 6.) Nuggets 7.) Thunder 8.) Grizzlies
    EAST: 1.) Celtics 2.) Cavaliers 3.) Raptors 4.) Wizards 5.) Bucks 6.) Heat 7.) Hornets 8.) 76ers

    Fun!

I think Blake stays in LA though. I think that was one of the main reasons why they were okay with letting CP3 go.

Dude i was just talking to someone at work yesterday about deandre jordan for jonas valanciunas and others makes too much sense. We agreed that it only makes sense if they resign lowry though.

I doubt he wants to. I think he wants to win and Washington would be perfect for him. I think it'd be smart of LAC to trade Jordan and try to find a S&T for Griffin. If they could rebuild around JonasV., Dekker, Harrell, Jawun Evans, and add 4 future picks in the process, it'd be a smart move.

Makes perfect sense. Ibaka and Jordan would be absolutely dominant defensively, and Ibaka spacing for Jordan is perfect offensively as well. They need to make a move to take the next step, and Jonas and a future 1st makes sense for both sides. LAC would get the younger C who's under contract for longer and a pick to help start their rebuild. I think it's likely that Jordan would leave LAC after next year anyway since he wouldn't have CP3 or Blake (possibly) to come lock him in a house and convince him to stay.

I could see him going to Boston though. If they could get Paul George and Blake Griffin instead of George and Gordon, I think that's a really good team.

I'm positive that's their other plan. Makes a lot of sense. I do think they really like what Amir Johnson does for them. If Hayward signs in MIA, expect Griffin in BOS.

Not sure how I feel about that Portland one. Vonleh, Harkless and the pick seems like a lot and I still would like to see Vonleh and Harkless play a couple months with Nurk. I could see Vonleh blossoming later and is really regretting it. Pull Vonleh out then I'd be more interested.

Vonleh is trade bait imo. Don't think Portland will pay him next summer.

That feels like we're giving IND more than BOS is, and we only get Thad Young and Jae Crowder and they're getting Paul George. I like Young, and especially Crowder, but they are role players and will never be anything more. PG13 is a superstar.

I'd prefer to hold onto Vonleh and try to pawn Leonard off on them instead. Of course what I want and what they want are two different things. I still think Vonleh has potential, but after the draft, we have two other guys who are even younger that also have potential and can play the same position as Vonleh.

You have Wade going to both MIA and CLE. I suppose MIA is dependent on them getting Hayward. I guess it depends on which is more important to Wade, one final shot at riding LeBron's coattails to another ring, or returning to MIA to retire where he started and has already win 3 rings. Kind of hard to believe that for all of his greatness, super team maneuvering and trips to the finals, LeBron has the exact same number of rings as DWade.

That's a good point. If Vonleh shows a glimmer of progress, some other team will likely throw stupid money his way. Hopefully, we learned something from the Crabbe situation. Stupid money is stupid money, regardless of whether you offered it or matched it.

Good point. Timing is bad either way. If he plays really well then we likely want want to match big $$. If he doesn't then he will get passed up by Collins, Swanigan or someone else. The big money needs to be reserved for Nurk and maybe Collins.

Oops, BNM beat me to it.

Yeah which is why I think we should trade him now, because if Collins or Swanigan beats him out, we wont get much for him at the deadline. That scenario is more likely to me than him having some huge breakthrough season.

No I don't. I said I think that Miami will try to trade Tyler Johnson for Lamarcus Aldridge, and that they'll do this to try to convince Hayward to sign there, thinking that the core of Dragic, Hayward, Aldridge, and Whiteside would be enough to convince Wade to return on a minimum after his buyout. However, I think that Hayward will go to Boston and therefore, Wade will spurn a return to Miami in order to chase a ring with Lebron in Cleveland.

I'd do in in a heartbeat. Crowder and Young are huge upgrades over Harkless and Vonleh, and they're both 2-way players. Young would be a stopgap until Collins or Swanigan would be ready to start at PF.

Were they really okay with it or did they have no choice in the matter?
I think Cp3 said he was leaving for Houston either way.

He also have Aminu in that trade so we giving up 3 players plus 1st round pick just little to much for much. If your giving up a 1st I would go Harkless and Vonleh with that pick.
