The way I read the Chicago weather, the rain fall was not to appear until 9 PM Chicago time. Might have been shortened but counted as a complete game. Meanwhile while waiting I caught a bit of the Sox & Twinkies until I got tired of the ESPN Crew (unprofessional. Switched over to MLB and quickly got tired of know it all never played Amsinger, Harold the Mouth Reynolds, and my favorite wonder how he got that job Eric Byrnes. That did not last long either. MLB has really gone to hell "Quick Pitch" excepted.

It's 11:00 PM and the game has not started yet! The LAD at LAA is already in inning 4.
I'll never make through this game. Teams will be playing in front of a practically empty stadium.

Prayers go out to Dustin Fowler. I'm in shock.

Was asleep and son just woke me up to watch horrifying play by fowler hitting wall along right field line. Kids leg crumpled and went down like he was shot and had to be carted off in his first big league inning. Looks like acl or some other bad injury to the kid. Just a terrible thing to see and feel terrible for the kid. Yankee team looks on in shock. Usually when a kid first comes up his family is at the game. Fowlers family was to meet him houston tmo. Just unbelievably bad break for the kid

And Gardner fields a single in very short left while runner just hitting third and throws home like a little leaguer. Jesus, I've seen enough of him now too.

Just announced fowler has a rupture of the right patellar tendon which is a gruesome injury and the proof of how bad it is is that he is undergoing immediate surgery right now in chicago. Poor kid. Can't feel worse for him.

And Yanks take themselves out of another inning with bad baserunning as rizutto is out stretching a single into a double for the third out. Note to Rizzuto... melky has a great arm and the play is in front of you. Where the fuck are you going??? Tied 2-2 but still grumpy and can't get back to sleep

Cesspool actually drops his ERA to <6.xx, holy cow bats do fly out of pigs asses....

Fowler's miscue will give me nightmares for years, indictive of other horrid hits, ie Gale Sayers, wrong sport: broken bones, from nasty hbp's (Conigliaro) to lose of life (Ray Chapman, Doc Powers), and others breaking: Micks cleats stuck; Kendall, Marquis Grissom, and many who've blown ankles/knees/arms out.....

enough grossness for a nights worth of horrid replays....

...never cared for Melky, even when he was with the Yanx...and his decision to play possum on Judge's HR bid cements my feelings... I hope he gets drilled the next time these 2 teams meet.

Thought the game would be cancelled. Score checking the other games this Am found out it got played and per the River Avenue Blues recap saw the game results. Watched Quick Pitch and saw the Fowler play, felt for the guy, first game hustling for his team with negative results. The RAB mentioned the Refsnyder fuck up stating that the look on Girardis' face was one mixed with death and disbelief. Quick pitch did not show that play. Again per the RAB recap the Yankees offense failed against a corpse of James Shields pitching behind the count most of the night, Worse thing was seeing the smirk on David Robertsons' face post game. Bad Day at Black Rock for all. Cessa, you do not belong in this rotation.

What a terrible shame about Fowler. It's unreal when the injuries just won't stop but this one has to be one of the worst you will ever see. Six months or more recovery time.
