What are the Bills doing, not re-signing Clement, Fletcher, letting Willis Mcgahee go in trades, who are they expecting to get for that backfield? There is also the rumor going around, I have to find the source, they wish to trade Takeo Spikes also. Does anyone see the direction this franchise is trying to head, letting their best players go? I for one am not seeing what they are doing.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>who are they expecting to get for that backfield?</div>Interesting point CKidd22, they're meeting with corey dillon today. But still Corey is old, banged up, not capable of being an all-around back for the Bills or any team for that matter. No season is easy in the NFL but if there was one, it was last season for Corey Dillon. The Pats had a plethura of backs including Lawrence Maroney, Kevin Faulk, Heath Evans, Patrick Pass, along with Dillon. I don't get what the Bills are doing either, doesn't make any sense.

Wow this is just a really exciting offseason this year, what a steal for the Ravens, honestly I think McGahee will have some big numbers in Baltimore and this makes this team just so much more dangerous

Willis McGahee is a tough personality, people question his motives...the guy seems like a immature dink..This group of players isn't winning...they have to do something different.

This is going to be huge for the ravens. It may just give them the extra boost they need on offense to go the extra mile.

Good trade. I was wondering how they'd replace Lewis. Now with McGahee they get a back that is younger and a bit better. They also save 5 mil. by making that switch I think which'll help for the rest of the off-season. Him and Musa make a good RB duo...hopefully the offense can be better this season. I'm still stuck as a Cards fan though. [IMG] McGahee has only gotten 3.8 ypc the last two seasons so I'm not going crazy over this signing, but it is an upgrade.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Um, they are simply trying to dump salary and move in a different direction</div>Yeah I think the direction they are moving is towards Los Angeles. [IMG]<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>What are the Bills doing, not re-signing Clement, Fletcher, letting Willis Mcgahee go in trades, who are they expecting to get for that backfield? I for one am not seeing what they are doing.</div>They just didn't have the money to re-sign Clements, Fletcher was going down hill fast and its probably better if they let him go now. I hate the McGahee trade, he wasn't the problem, the problem was the offensive line would part like the Red sea every running play. the Bills have hopefully fixed that problem with the addition of Shawn Dockery. Yeah the Bills have been said to be shopping Takeo, I think they are doing that because last year he was largely inneffective. I think that injury a couple of years ago is really taking its toll. Don't try to figure out what the Bills are doing, it will only give you head aches. this is a team which has been running on pure retardation for over a decade now. It's stupid mistake after stupid mistake with them, from the Billy Jo Holbert thing, to Todd Collins, the Flutie/Johnson switch in the playoffs vs Tennessee, the Rob Johnson Era, the Drew Bledsoe era, now its the eplelptic squirrel era in Buffalo(JP Losman), its not a good time to be a Bills fan. add that to the wonderful draft choices they have made *cough* Mike Williams *cough*. Its a sad day for any football team when your best player is your Punter.

McGahee is a Top 10 RB in the NFL so I don't see what the Bills are trying to do. Especially in a tough division, and with an awful QB. Plus, I own a $100 McGahee jersey so now that goes to waste...DAMMIT.

I don't think any of you understand how much of a problem Willis McGahee was in Buffalo. He has a big ego, clashes with coaches, thinks he's better than everyone, pisses and moans over his numbers not being what he wants...etc... The Bills can pick a RB in the draft and fill up the numbers McGahee left, RB is an easy position to fill...not a big deal for Buffalo really...

Jim Kelly is another example, he almost went to the Dolphins before the Bills changed things. The Bills have always had the problem of hiring sh*tty people, once they purge themselves of those idiots they usually end up doing pretty well.
