Nice. I think Clippers may be a surprise. Blake plays better without Paul.

Clippers should of just completely blown it up, between blakes injury problems and the fact he wont be as good with chris paul feeding him, bad deal. DJ will regress too

Blake's stats have always been better when Paul doesn't play. Blake is better when the offense is run through him. Heck, his best year was his rookie year.

I guess I just wanna see where he is at without Paul. His latest injuries have been an issue too

If healthy, Griffin is a great player, worth the money--basically a peak Chris Webber. But this deal has spectacular blow-up potential considering Griffin's issues with staying healthy.

Blake's stats might be better without Paul, but is his team?

He's a great passing power forward, capable post player, great athleticism to get out on the break and finish and has a good jumpshot. Broadly similar skillset. The numbers are also pretty close, both basic and advanced.

The Clippers are dead now. Well, Balmer does have a lot of money, but that's about it.

Damn they just screwed the pooch. He's gonna end up being injured too much. He's a great player when healthy I just dont see it working out.

Chris Webber played defense though. And he was a much, MUCH better passer than BG. He was probably the best passing PF ever. I don't think their games are remotely alike.

Dammit, I only offered him $170 million of Paul Allen's money.

Disagree on the passing. I think Griffin is right there with him (and Draymond Green is in that discussion too). Also, neither guy is known for his defense--Griffin isn't terrible at all. I mean, I have no passionate opinion on which of the two was better at defense, but I definitely don't agree that either of them separated themselves from the other on the defensive end. They are/were both mediocre.

The problem with Blake is he is getting paid to be the leader of his team and I doubt anyone on the team likes him or even respects him.

Career numbers in assists are comparable. Surprising. But we part ways on Griffin's D. He's a liability. Even TT used to go to work on Blake. Webber actually blocked shots. Blake is horrible at that.
