We won the lottery and had the first pick in 2005 (Which I predicted would happen)....and the Bucks are in as good of a position as any to win again in general...the ping pongs aren't in any teams real favor since so many teams had between 20-25 wins at the bottom. If we had the #1 pick I'd have to go with Greg Oden, we have not had a defensive presense in the paint since...I can't even remember...Drafting Kevin Durant would mean more perimeter ball would pretty much end Andrew Bogut's hopes at getting touches. We don't need scorers, we have a 27 year old bomber on contract...we don't have a defensive post presense...The tandem of Bogut/Oden would be a lot of fun to watch and would bring winning basketball back to Milwaukee.

I agree 100% with you BCB. I know that on espn's draft thing, they seem to think that if Milwaukee got the number 1, they'd go with Durant, but I dont see how any team doesn't go with Oden. Durant is so great as a player, but he's a wing perimiter player and we all know that there is a ton of those that come around while centers really dont. There isnt one team that I can think of that doesn't grab Oden instead of Durant.

Yep, any Bucks fan that would want to pick Kevin Durant over Greg Oden is a fool. I've been watching this team for almost 10 years, we have not had a defensive post presense in that many years...Michael Redd and Kevin Durant wouldn't be a good match...because Charlie Villanueva and Andrew Bogut would be out of the offensive flow for most of the game...and would probably want out of Milwaukee when the rookie deals expire.
