My favorite is when Aminu thinks he is Giannis and brings the ball up the floor out of control only to turn it over. He gives great length and defense but his offense is so meh to me. Where as Meyers is just bad at both. Both have also regressed compared to prior season. Both will remain Blazers this season it looks like. Okay with Aminu for now but not okay with Meyers

His defense is so overrated though.. He gets blown by all the time and doesn't defend well in the low post.

This is true to an extent, I did notice him in the season get scorched on defense. I think both Aminu and crabbes defense is overrated but aminus length kinda helps him with that naturally

Yep. Ingles shoots the 3 every bit as good as Crabbe (.441 3FG%), is a better rebounder, a better passer and a MUCH better defender.

I laugh at the casual NBA fans calling that contract overpaid. That contract is a great deal

Age can't be ignored (Ingles is almost 30), and he's coming off his best year by a significant margin.

Ingles is the better player right now, but a lot can change in 1-2 years.

Vulcan's have emotions, they are just not ruled by them.

That is a good piece for Houston....a versatile defender. They have improved quite a bit.

He's only been in the league three seasons and has gotten better every year. He's played less than 5000 minutes in the NBA. So, it's not like his body seen the same amount of wear and tear as the typical 30-year old NBA player. And, his game does not rely on athleticism. I wouldn't be too worried about his performance declining drastically in the next 1 - 2 years.

I've always wondered what traveling to a parallel universe would be like. As I watched that, I realized that Labron was a scrub, and I actually owned the Blazers. Then the clip ended, and I came back....

Also means his upside is way more limited and not a lot of development left to do.

Crabbe in 4-5 years probably gets a similar contract since a) won't be restricted b) older and less potential

Do you think Ingles gets that contract if he is 24 instead of 29? Bet his value goes much higher if he were 5 years younger.

I think Philadelphia's deal for Redick is incredibly good for them. It's just one year so it won't bloat their cap space for long, they badly needed someone who can shoot and is experienced and Redick fits the bill, and by giving him $23M for a year they basically blew all other possible offers out of the water. They want to make playoffs next season and this is sending a clear signal. No more tanking.

Also added Amir Johnson. Philly is the team to look out for in a couple years if healthy. They have beasts for young players.

Amir with one year contract too. They don't get any risks with longterm contracts and they give their young guys some veteran locker room presence. Especially JJ can help Simmons grow a lot as he ll provide him (together with Fultz and Covington) all the spacing he needs.

They talk about Millsap joining the Nuggets. Maybe a move that makes them stronger than us in the run for the playoffs.
