Jeez these Crabbe and Turner contracts are looking worse and worse every passing day. Really decent players still available for SIGNIFICANTLY less money

    Here's a stupid question

Say we get below the luxury line, would giving someone the full MLE put us right back over?

We could bring back a fan favorite free agent ex-blazers at a good price: Dante Cunningham

Rather see Swanigan play than Dante. Plus i think Ed davis is better than him.

I would be looking for a guy who is athletic and known for his defense, maybe some problems in his offensive game that we would take a chance that we could fix. I only see two guys that are UFA that we might be able to afford for $5 million. KJ McDaniels and Justin Holiday. McDaniels is 24 and Holiday 28 so would go for the younger guy.
Since even the Nets have dropped him, would try to get him on the Vet's minimum, because I don't think it would be worth tying up more money on a gamble.

    Yes - good signing.
No - he'll get more than that

We have enough players that can't shoot.
