...even when those players mentioned return I don't see opposing pitchers changing their approach to Judge...they'll let anyone but Judge beat them. The only good pitches he'll see will be mistakes.
Joe Torre lasted 12 seasons and that was with going to the playoffs every year, four championships and six world series appearances. Giradi is in his 10th season and while I've always supported him to me his time should be growing short here. When I see a guy just predictably continue to throw guys like Wade and Frazier to the bottom of the lineup so that Headley and the awful Carter go back to back ahead of them that's the last straw. Like with his handling of the pen it's an ingrained stubbornness I've seen enough of.
When wishing Sevy would have a good game I place my right hand out front, my left hand over my ass. Guess which is getting filled first.
Torre was also handed the keys to a Cadillac Team with George to sign the checks for necessary additions. Girardi inherited a team that after winning it all in his second season lost Big George in the Third. The Steinbrenner Tadpoles and Cashman turned the Cadillac into a Yugo stocked with a bunch of do nothing prima donnas. Yes Girardi has his moments and as much as I've supported Girardi I'm beginning to wonder myself. He does have employees that can't do their jobs, that is on the "Brass".
My father used to say wish with one hand in front and the other over your ass and see which gets filled first.
I can't recall last time I even saw a Yugo??? Had to of been in the early 90's, late 80's. There trademark chimney exhausts, aka James Bond rear Smoke Screens.... Yugo's with their 1 month, 100 mile warranties.....Commy cars filled with trash for insulation. It's called a Yugo because when it broke down the driver and the passenger would argue on who would walk to the nearest phone to call for help. You go, no you go.
At least the pain is over early. Get your 4th of July celebrating started now and forget about this nonsense. I'm having a beer because well why not?
