Pass on Jagr. Slow, old and doesn't fit what we do. I would be shocked if Gorton had interest in him.

He's slow but like I said, our puck possession from our forwards is still crap. Doubt they have any interest in him.

Hopefully DeAngelo dosen't end up a worse version of DZ. Jagr gives pp help and like Dump says a bit more possession. Though I'd generally like to see Miller stay at W.

Anything can happen, but I really see no way Jagr is even a blip on Gorton's radar. And we have Shatt to help with the PP, he is a PP master.

I hope Gorton has the vision to understand he's going to have to deal McDonagh at the end of this season. He'll be 29. You can't give him a huge contract with all the depth and salaries we have on this team. Therefore, trading any D prospects other than Holden make very little sense unless they are mid-tier guys like Gilmour.

lol wingers don't produce? palmaeri and hall put up almost the same points as zuc and kreider. so i dont get that comment. and trade down? for what? you just said our wingers (forwards) are brutal so why would we pass up on a top center that can put up points? when the devils finished 3rd worst in goals scored? sure the av's got a "good" defender that "might" be something 3-4 years from now. or have nico playing this year? no brainer imo.

its a great trade by shero. giving up 2 picks for a 40-50pt guy. building a nice foundation around hall and nico. defense? yeah its meh right now but i think if cory can rebound even halfway that will already be a huge improvement for the defense. plus i really like the mueller pick up the kid has tons of potential. getting younger and more skilled and better skating with each pickup i like the direction the team is heading. its really a shame that when the devils were good the rangers were bad then when the rangers were good the devils were bad. would really liked to have both teams on the same page at the same time.

kovy isn't going to the rangers at least not this year. there is zero chance that shero would deal him to the devils biggest rival. if the trade isn't there then force him to sit out a year and the rangers can sign him at a 35 year+ deal. which i wouldn't advise against esp if hes asking for a 3 year deal

Always nice to have NJ Cup on my ignore list and him still not understanding nobody here cares what he thinks. He's got enough problems with the incompetent idiots running his team that don't realize you need more than AHL defenseman on your team.

That would be crazy if they signed Jagr. Don't see it happening but it would interesting to play him with Buchenevic

why would i be on your ignore list? immature much? i get you can't use ahl defensemen but you also can't use ahl forwards. you can't solve both problems by drafting 1 guy can you?

i get you hate the devils but your an idiot if you hate what shero is doing in NJ.

Can't really argue that Shero is doing a solid job lately.

Shero is a good GM. Will take 2 years, but he'll get the Devs righted.

Radulov to the Stars. 5-years just over 6 mill per AAV.

If you keep drafting in the top 3 every year you will right yourself. This is where all sports should have the rule I talked about. If you draft in the first 2 picks, the next year you can't draft higher than 10th. No reason to reward incompetence year after year.

As far as Shero. He sucks until proven otherwise. All I've seen him do is ignore the Devils defense problem in the draft.

Yup, if only AV played him on the 1st PP unit...

I'll make the assumption he will have Shatt on the 1st unit. And overall as a player Shatt is better than Yandle as well.

Shatt is best PP d-man we have had since Leetch.

25+ PP points past 5+ years. Yandle didn't do that.

what about B. Richards and Dan Boyle. They were also supposed to save the PP. Arniel is still here for some unknown reasons since the head guy loves him.
