You can't tell me he's not a backup if he can play like this consistently

He's obviously got it in him.

Good guy, hope he makes it - even a $5 mil taxpayer contract would be great for him....

That being said, the thought of having Joel and Biebs in at the same time during crunch time (as shown in the video) gives me the heebee jeebees.

Dude was the king of going straight up on D. You remember incorrectly. Freeland was great.

Look at his shooting percentages and think again.

I like Joel too, but the blazers don't need a back up F/C at this time.

    Vonleh - Aminu - Harkless - Swanigan
    Nurkic - Leonard - Collins - Davis

I'd much rather let Zach and Caleb get any available backup minutes.

I remember freeland very well KS. So what he went straight up on D a few times... He certainly wasn't "the king at it. Bottom line, he made very little impact while he was here. The whole board was clamoring for him to come over and he never really did anything memorable except get injured while blocking a shot.

My favorite Joel Freeland story is the time Luke Babbitt pissed him off and Joel picked him up and body slammed him at practice....Joel is a great defender...not looking for much offense from him...he'll find a job..we don't need his skills now
