ROY is Roy, there really is no reason to stat why I think so other than the fact that it's completely obvious.
Easily Brandon Roy he has been starting the whole season and Bargnani has been as of late but still isn't always with the starters.

see..he Rudy scores maybe 2-5 less points than bargnani, but usually gets more rebounds and more blocks and steals.Im not saying Rudy scores alot...its YALL, as raptor fans who wont stopsaying how much so-and-so scores...its not all about points.And dont diss the grizzlies...the Raptors have sucked up until this year, and its f*cking sad that people consider Mitchell COY because Toronto is 3 games above .500...thats how bad yall have been the past seasons. The griz lost there coach, best player for a while, sell pendings and all that. Memphis actually have reasons for having a horrible season...which in the past the Raptors havent. Anybody can see Rudy Gay is having a better season than Bargnani. Stop being so damn biased and admit the sh*t.

I have always been a big fan of Rudy Gay's, but honestly, I think Andrea Bargnani would get the nod for me. He's a hell of a scorer, spreads the defense....

Of course he is going to win at steals though. How many Centers get more steals than athletic wing players? Maybe Ben Wallace....and he's won DPOY countless times.Mitchell is being considered COY because of the drastic improvement. We were 27-55 last year, and now we are looking at a 46-50 win season. BTW, I am not one of those who thinks he should win. I think only truly great coaches should win, and the Smitch is just a motivator. Yeah, they are still sh*t with their best player. Everything just fell apart for them, and that is my point. Rudy Gay gets alot of touches on offense because the Grizzlies just plain suck. And don't even try to debate that. I won't admit it. Bargnani is having an amazing offensive year in his FIRST season coming over from EUROPE. He has been the clear cut better offensive player this year, and he is not that far behind Rudy on defense. He can actually hold his own, and he is alot better at D than I expected he'd be.

Andrea Bargnani. Based on team success and play from when he started getting some legit minutes. Roy plays starter minutes and is a key option on offense. Bargnani does not have plays run for him. He just makes best with what he is given. He also comes off the bench. I expect Bargnani to be snubbed ala Melo.
