    His numbers are pretty depressing.

13.6 ppg (okay that's not awful)
    4.6 rebounds (that's not.... great)
0.9 assists (that's pretty fucking bad)
41.8% from the field (again..... bad)
40.3% from three (that's pretty much the only reason anyone would want him)

Exactly. No reason to trade reasonable contracts for shitty ones. And if we're stuck with a shitty contract I'd rather have Crabbe, who we actually have minutes for, rather than Anderson who plays our most stacked position. Giving up our only good SF for another PF would be abominably stupid.

Keep in mind the Rockets just signed PJ Tucker, add in Melo and is there much time for Ariza?

So we give up two of our reasonable contracts in Harkless and Davis and take on yet another albatross in Ryan Anderson? Granted, dumping Leonard would be a positive but not nearly enough of one.

This is shaping up to be a horrendous deal for Portland if those really are the principles involved.

There's a logjam at power forward, to be sure, but it is certainly not stacked. That has been a weak position since LMA left. None of our players have stepped forward and seized that opening, but we have two new contenders in Collins and Swanigan.

Houston loves to play smaller guys as smallball power forwards, so all three will probably split two positions, not one. Especially if they dump Ryan Anderson.

So basically the same production as Crabbe, but with a more expensive contract, more injury history, older, and leaving us with no real backup SG (sure Turner can play it, but can't shoot).

Swanigan takes Mo's spot, Collins takes Meyers and you get a vet shooter for a couple years to stretch the floor who's got a high BBIQ....I don't see what's to complain about here.....I liked Mo but I would do that deal...it Meyers Leonard!!!!

Yup. If it was Crabbe/Meyers for Anderson/Ariza/O'Quinn I think I could swallow it.

Clearing space is a great sign, and means there might be something else in the works. There are still some solid UFAs to be had. Plus it could put us in play for Bradley, who could thrive in Turners role.

Same, I like Ariza as a player and O'Quinn has some value.

If we got his absolute best production, which was back in 2011-2012 with Orlando, he put up 16 ppg, 7.7 boards, and shot 44% from the field. He still can't pass to save his life. This dude averages under one assist per game. That's not encouraging.

Haha, wow. You sent the two useful players to Portland and the junk to New York. Here's hoping the Knicks...are the Knicks.

And I'd rather give minutes to Collins/Swanigan than to Anderson.

How would we be clearing space? We would be matching dollar for dollar everything we send out.

If Meyers thought Blazer fans were harsh.....holy shit...if he's a Knick it's going to be brutal beyond brutal

Dame and CJ want to win now. Developing rookies isn't going to help do that.

Exactly. Also, it is 2017. I highly doubt Anderson is going to approach anything close to stats he put up in 2012.
