I just saw this movie today in the theatres. All of the times for the next like 4 days are soldout where I live. I saw it at an I-Max theatre, and it was crazy. The fighting scenes were so intense, and their was so much blood and action. It was a really good movie. I definitely recommend it.Anybody else seen it yet?
Yeah, just got back from seeing it. I saw it in just a regular theater since our Imax doesn't have it for some damn reason. This is one of those movies that I'll probably go back and see again before it goes off the big screen. I f*cking loved it. :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
Just came back from it. I think everyone had the idea of going early today because the first showing at 1:00 had a line and the movie ended up being packed. It was crazy since last time I went to a 1:00 showing, there was barely anyone in the theater. Movie is going to huge.I suggest everyone see this at a theater or if you have the chance the IMAX. You just have to get the jolt of the music and hits of the movie in the theater. It's loud and fierce.I overheard some people saying it was better than the Matrix. Eh, when I saw the Matrix, that was groundbreaking and a awe to watch. You get some of that in 300 but it's not that groundbreaking. The visuals are great but it's nothing new imo. Movie overall is very good, my only complaint would be how they jump from Sparta to the battles. It takes away from the action but tries to further the story with Queen Gorga. Ballerman weren't you disappointed that the elephants and rhinos did not do much damage, or no battles on the oceanfront. Trailer kind of took away some of their thunder when they came on screen. Because we already saw it.
Saw this at 2:30ish with a bunch of friends...Honestly, I was expecting much more. It was a very good movie - but I wasn't totally satisfied with what I got. Yes - it had the really cool graphics (which weren't ground breaking), yes, the fighting scenes were pretty cool - but NO to a good story. I didnt think it flowed that well - they kept jumping around and it seemed like they tried to rush something. I also wanted to see some rhinos/elephants do some damage. That was lame. Anyways this is a 9.5/10 - its missing something.Oh Yeah - the music on the trailer was much better than what was in the actual movie.

The rest was rushed it seemed, they went through each quick with only certain scenes shown. Such as with the "magic men", elephants, and rhino attacks. Although with the elephants, it was understandable. They were clumsy and could not walk along the cliff. But they were rushed through and shorter then the first two fights.
Unbelievable movie. All these movie reviewers giving it poor grades are a bunch of elitist twitzies. How could you not love this movie? The power and mental stength of them fighting against their countries takeover while everyone around them abandoned them...the fight scenes were out of this world, the music was amazing.... Awesome.

Awesome movie. The action scenes were freaking unbelievable. Great scenery and special effects also. There wasnt much lot and character development, but I didnt really care. You dont need that stuff when it is a war/action movie. Just freaking amazing fighting scenes. Only problem was when they kepot going back to Sparta in between battle scenes.
