In other words, treat abortion like any other medical procedure. Decision made by patient in consultation with doctor and any others patient may choose to involve, covered by insurance. Like appendectomy. Or prostate surgery. Insurers just love to separate women from "people". I've had insurance plans that covered every prescription except contraceptives, even when used for non-birth control reasons. Every surgery but abortion. Every condition but pregnancy. Vasectomy but not tubal ligation. Thank you, Oregon, for considering women people. Maybe when I retire in a year or two I'll move north.
Another delusional post. Have you ever known anyone that lost 200 lbs? They need skin removal surgery afterwards. Good luck getting it paid for unless you get sores or infections or something. They deem it not medically necessary or call it cosmetic. If you're lucky enough that they will pay for it they generally make you wait a long time to prove you'll keep the weight off. What surgery would you deem it ok for them to decline coverage for? Nose jobs? Penis enlargement? Not covering birth control pills prescribed for a legitimate medical need is kinda shitty but they do all kinds of shitty things to save money. But you think it's just because it's for women. Ok....
A heart transplant is also a choice, no one will ever force you to get one. Smoking is also a choice, does this logic extend to smokers and the extra health care they will require?

I want aftermarket rims for my wife's car. Should I see if my car insurance will pay for it? Oil changes? If you pass a law making them cover stuff like that what do you think will happen to my premiums?
I'm a lot lighter than I was and have maintained it for 3-4 years now but couple my years of being over 400 with the toll my job takes on my body and I'd cost a shit ton of money if I would actually go to the doctor. I hate it.
I know a lot of drug addicts that go get "free" healthcare daily. Abscess on the arm? Feeling dope sick? Hurt themselves breaking into a car? Go get free medical care! My brother for one example, is a life long junkie. He's literally had about 200,000-300,000 dollars in medical care. All shit that was his own fault. I can't wait for him to go to prison for 10+ years, or die. Those are the only 2 options to get him clean at this point.
