Droughns was terrific 2-3 years ago, had a down season last year. If he restore the roar in his game, this would be one of the best trades in recent memory. Carter is injury prone, and was totally overhyped anyway...so, I love this deal. If Droughns can rush for like 1000-1300 yards I'd be sooo happy. because u figured Jacobs will get at least 600 yards, and about 10 touchdowns.
1,000-1,300!? I don't think so...I'd expect Jacobs to get the bulk of the load this season, or at least a platoon split down the middle. Droughns has dropped off a ton these past couple seasons and it's obvious why the Browns opted for signing Lewis rather than sticking with Droughns. Nonetheless it's a pretty good trade for the Giants. They needed some insurance for Jacobs in case he isn't able to carry the load and Droughns provides that and some.
Rueben Droughns is a very average runningback....I wouldn't put much stock in his numbers in Cleveland, it seems every RB is getting 1,000 yards.....just a solid backup for Brandon Jacobs.

Up until they did that, that's where I thought Peterson would go too, but I guess I still wouldn't rule out the possibility.BTW- You just hoping he goes high or are the Browns a specific team you'd like to see him play for?
Peterson=CLEVELAND BOUND!W00t!I can't wait until draft day, but I still want PS to go out there and sign me some more offensive and defensive line men! Browns are trying to make a come back to the AFC north, and we are gonna take it over son!
I like te trade too. The Giants need a good young RB to replace Tiki. If Jacobs keeps on playing like teh way he is now, he'll only last 4 maybe 5 more years. If you don't know what I'm talking about... He's all about running the the guy over in front of him. He's taken some big including to his knees.
