I don't think it's that big of a deal, but I think Chauncey should just say once and for all he's going to wait till the end of the year, look at his options, and go from there. End of story. I will say this though: they are playing it smart. Use it all as leverage to get more money out of Detroit... but then again, I'm sure Dumars is going to pay Billups whatever it takes to make sure he is still in Detroit.As for the report itself, I think that would be a huge acquisition for Denver, but the chances of it happening are slim to none. They would have to do a sign-and-trade in order to get Billups, and the odd-man out in that scenario would most likely be Marcus Camby. Would I do it if I was Denver? Yes, especially when you look at how Nene has emerged as of late... but it won't happen.

Finals...hes staying...no final, he might be leaving. I dont see him making Dnever much better...hes not the type of player they need really.

We all heard the Larry Brown to Cleveland rumors during the 2004-05 season... and he left/got fired. We all heard the Big Ben to Chicago rumors last year... and he left. Just some food for thought... But again, I don't see Detroit letting Billups get away. They could make-up for what Ben Wallace gave them (or at least get close), but no chance in hell they could replace what Billups gives them.

I don't even pay any attention to these articles, after the first game of the season against Milwaukee there were articles saying Chauncey wouldn't mind joining the Bucks. Its just something that we'll have to deal with, nothing I personally can change so I'll just sit back and watch how things turn out. I hope Chauncey doesn't get a little too greedy and I hope Mr. D don't try to lowball him, Mr. D is known for being a sort of cheap owner. He paid Rip, Sheed, and Tay I guess so he isn't all that cheap but I just hope he pays Chauncey what he's worth. I know Joe D will do all he can to get Chauncey resigned.

There are usually only 2 instances when a sign and trade should happen..and neither of them make sense here. 2. That article is stupid. You can sense the "I'm sick of this question" from the way Billups responded. The article just says his agent says he'd welcome a sign and trade there. His agent's job is to get him more money. If he even really said it...that would be the only reason he'd say it.3. There is a 0% chance Dumars lets Billups go anywhere. It's not gonna happen.
