Does anyone know if he's entering the draft? I'd like to see him come, and NBADraft.net has him in the 2008 draft. But what do you guys know?

I think he'll stay for his senior year and come to the NBA in '08

I don't care what anyone says, this guy is a player. He's in the mold of a Zach Randolph, Ike Diogu, in the NBA he will be able to score in the post. People make a big deal over his height but he's not even and inch shorter than Randolph...I don't think their are 10 guys stronger than him in the NBA, mobile feet, good hands, awesome personality. If I had a first round pick in the 20's I'd love to nab this guy. I'm excited to see him enter the draft this year, it spices things up.

Agreed 100%, I love Big Baby, and he is a player. You hit most of the point about his size, strength, low-post scoring ability and whatnot, but I'd also like to add a couple more things:

    - The guy is a work horse, and he lost a TON of weight this past summer. It was like 40 or 50 lbs. he lost.

    - He has a better jump shot than some might think. I remember laughing when he hit a 3 in the tournament last year, but he has extended his range this year.

Mock drafts have Big Baby going mid-late 2nd round, I think he should go higher than that as well.

There is no way in my opinion that David falls to the 2nd this year, and if he did, whoa, steal. [IMG] Look at that guy, he still has to lose 25 pounds...I just don't understand the hate with Davis, I might be temped to take him at #15 or so in the draft. I love this news that Davis is coming out. Woooo. Big Baby Mania baby.EDITBig Baby: 'Leaning toward going pro'http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/bask...avis/index.html Apparently he's not decided to enter. Damn it, I was excited. Hope he does.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"I'm collecting the facts this weekend to make sure the situation is good enough to enter the Draft," Davis said. "If I like what I hear, I'm going pro, but the option of coming back to school for my senior year is still open."</div>

The Lakers, Heat and Rockets to me would be teams that could be interested.

Dont count out the Hornets. Big Baby is our hometown boy! He would be perfect coming off the bench and playing for Tyson Chandler. I say Hornets get him with one of their second round picks. He is not going in the first thats for sure.

If he goes in the second round, he's the biggest steal in the draft.

He could learn some great offensive moves from fellow LSU bigman Shaq, and some defense from Zo. And he could take their place when they retire considering on how good he gets.

I would not mind if he came to Washington, would open up an oppurtanity to trade away Etan. From what I've seen he's a hard worker and has his heart in the game. Evolved post game, a jumpshot that can cause a nuisance for defenses if he evolves it (Mehmet Okur type nuisance), and has spent enough time in college to come to the NBA.
