<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>PHILADELPHIA -- Ending speculation that Larry Brown would again coach the Philadelphia 76ers, team president Billy King said on Friday that Maurice Cheeks would return next year for a third season."I think under these circumstances, he's done a good job," King said before the Sixers played the Los Angeles Lakers.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2793567Good to see him staying another year. We all questioned him during last year, but ow since we have reseted he is looking like a respectable coach. Hopefully he can lead us to contention next year.

I think it is an easy decision to bring him back. Yes, we all bashed him at times because of the way he handled certain situations, his stupid rotations, and his horrible plays coming out of timeouts. I will admit though that I was kind of hoping to have Brown coach us once again mainly because I think he would do wonders for Iguodala, but I'm happy with this move.Obviously since we are playing really well since the Iverson trade (hovering around .500 and currently have a six-game winning streak), it is even more of a no-brainer. But, even if we were sucking it would be way too much to fire him and bring in another coach. That would just be too much overhaul for this young squad. Iguodala and Dalembert seem to really respond to Cheeks and the rest of the coaching staff. I don't know what else to say other than this was a no-brainer.

Decent Move. He's better than Jim O Brian at least.Oh and I do think Cheeks will continue to grow as a coach as the seasons go by, he's a good fit in philly to.
