No this is not a thread to whine about how people hate on Kobe. I just wanted to see what you guys thought. It seems like Kobe is getting alot more hate in the last couple of days than before the suspension. Just watch BSPN all they talk about is how Kobe must hate foreigners because of Manu and Jaric and how Kobe was being malicious and is a horrible person blah blah. They are taking cheap shots at him for the way he looked in the "Second Coming" commcercial saying that when they do a closeup on Kobe it looks like he walking out of a court room in Colorodo. I mean my god they are getting pretty nasty. Want to see some real haters, if you watched the Lakers-76ers game last night with the 76ers' announcers that is just ignorant hating homers right there. Ah...I know I am sounding like a bi*ch here since I seem to be complaining but I have just had it with all the Kobe hate. I'm done. If you hate Kobe, whatever. I just don't give a sh*t. Hate all you want. I won't try to change your opinion or your mind because it seems like no matter what Kobe does or mistakes he makes he can never get the benefit of the doubt in any situation.
Kobe is FAR more popular now than he has ever been. MVP chants everywhere he goes, leading the league in gear sold, and people don't boo him much anymore. ESPN has been on his jock all year long.Enough with the hate sh*t.
Kobe Bryant has grown on me once again, and is now one of my favorite ball players again. I think all this bull sh*t is just ridiculous. The guy is the best in the NBA today, why in the world is their so much hate on him? I ask myself over and over again, wondering why in the world people hate the guy, and why the NBA does this dumb sh*t. Hating the guy is one thing, but when the NBA jumps in too and throws in those crappy suspensions, it's just absolutely ridiculous.
When you're hyped up as much as Kobe is you are going to get a fair share of haters. I'm not a hater but I think he needs to stop extending that arm out after the shot.

Wehnever any superstar player in the NBA does anything slightly controversial, there are gonna be haters that make things bigger than they actually are, people hate Wade for getting fouls called when he drives to the basket more than anyonje else in the league and they hate Kobe because he extended his arm after he shot and hit Jaric in the face. Someone is always gonna be mad about it so just leave it alone.

hate to break it to you, but kobe is actually a good player. infact, there are so many haters thinking he sucks and he hogs and stuff.but wade on the other hand, is overrated. he gets biased calls from refs because he falls(flops) on every play. sure, he is a pretty decent midrange and free throw shooter, and yes, he is athletic, but I think thats it. he was also the reason why usa lost in the summer. he was playing defence with his back to the player. yeah wade is definitely overrated. and now that hes won a champioinship(because of shaq) people overrate him even more.
I hate to break it to you Laker fans, but the world doesn't revolve around Kobe Bryant and your .500 basketball team.We just had another repetitive Kobe thread yesterday...yawn.

All that "he's walking out of a Colorado courtroom" sh*t on ESPN.com is sarcasm. Yes, he is receiving a lot of hate from the media lately, and as much as I like his game and respect him, he deserves it. OK, the Manu elbow is questionable, but the Jaric one wasn't. Then, the game he comes back, he gives Kyle Korver an intentional elbow in the face... Whether he is a dirty player or not (I personally don't think he is), his actions as of late definitely allow people to hate and label him as one. There is no questioning or debating that.

You shouldn't talk about other teams being a .500 basketball team. Not to mention injuries have been the worst of pretty much any team in the league this season for the Lakers.

Big Mo the topic is not even about his dam suspension it was about all the hate he recieves through the media or otherwise...jesus..BTW: Yeah it was intential because he was fouled. If the refs had actually called the foul Korver would not have been hit in the face now would he?
