    Okay so in the rumored scenario, the Blazers are looking for a 4th team to trade Meyers to for an asset, then flip said asset and Harkless to the Knicks for Ryan FUCKING Anderson.

    That's not it at all. I think the trade basically nets us Ryan Anderson and an unnamed asset for Meyers and Harkless.

    We seem to be focusing on added compensation to take Anderson, but to me it should also be as you've suggested: We need to send more bad contracts out of we're going to take Anderson's in.
