Noah is more of a "flashy" or high energy player while Horford just seems to go about his business very quietly which is why I believe Noah will go a couple picks before Horford does, though I believe Horford is going to be the better NBA player.
It's a toss up at this point, but with Noah you know what you're going to get while Horford could go one way or the other. Horford has the tendency to disappear for long amounts of time especially on the offensive end, which is why I'm not as high on him as some people are. While with Noah you know you're not going to get a great offensive player, but he's got some great defense and passion, and we'll see how that will translate to the next level. I'm really not sure if either will live up top 10 potential, but I think both will be fairly decent players at the worst.
I don't know who WILL go first, but I think Horford is the better NBA prospect. Noah's offensive game is very limited, Horford is more polished down there. He still needs work as well, but Horford has a lot more going for him. Noah has the athleticism and the heart, but Noah has the more polished game/tools. I think are going to be good players, but I think Horford will be the better one. Either way, I don't think Noah will necessarily disappoint. I think that if any GM honestly sees him as a future star, with his limited offensive game/tools, they have problems. But I do think he'll be very serviceable. Athleticism, heart, defense, passion, leadership, and shot blocking will help any team.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=z_4gq5yzrDk This is what I think of Noah and the Gators^ I really feel that Al Horford would put up Diogu/Sweetney type numbers if he didn't play for Florida. I just like Horford more, unlike Noah, Horford has solid bulk and an offensive post game. I just have my questions about Noah...I just have that feeling about him...I don't know what it is. Horford does get very inconsistant, but Noah has been the same way... I just feel more safe with the 245 pound guy with a good post game/all-around game.
Not sold on Noah, Like the Kid but he has fallen off this year, had good #'s durring the run last year and that was it, he will get pushed around a lot down low. not a great player of O.Noah reminds me of a lesser version of Josh Boone.
When I was watching the Bucks/Cavaliers last night....The comparison hit me, Anderson Varejao. Both 6'11, both quick/athletic, both don't have an offensive game....he just looked like Joakim Noah out there.
Joakim Noah is way overhyped..Al Horford will be a better NBA player than Noah..He's got more moves on the post, he's a better player on the offense in the post. And their defense is about equal.
Al Horford, because he is also good defensively, and he actually has a post game. Noah will be a bad offensive player in my opinion. I liked the Anderson Verajao comparison, and :HAHAHA: @ that video. That was so dumb it made me laugh out loud.
A year ago I would of said Noah hands down but I think this year Horford proved he's overall a more complete player than Noah isIt also depends on which team is drafting himWhile Noah would be a huge boost to your defense and energy (perfect for a team like the Suns or Nuggets who need some more defenders)Horford gives you more of an all around game and will contribute offensively faster than Noah will

Noah does a lot of things out there but I wonder if he's ever going to be even a 3rd option on offense in the NBA.
They might as well tatoo role player on Noah's head - cause that's what he's going to be. Tell me if you could imagine him in an NBA all-star game.Horford has a chance to be a P.J. Brown or possibly Jermaine O'neal type player.
Horford should go first but Noah will go before him. Noah has the advantage of having more hype since he has really been the leader of this team and has played great in college. However, I don't think he is big enough to continue his great play onto the NBA. I love Noah but I don't think he will be as good as Horford
I say Horford will go first. I think he is a better overall player, although Noah is a great spark and a better leader.
I think that Noah will go first, but he hasnt really progressed that much this year. When I watched Horford play, he was solid, but he could do more IMO. He doesn't get as involved in the game as he should IMO...
Noah is a faggot who has the ugliest shot and dribbling ability known to man. No one is going to want this guy's face on a trading card, nobody is going to pay to see his uglyself, who want's him really?Noah looks good because he plays hard and he has Horford. Horford has the real talent and because of him and the ability of Brewer and the three point shooters, Noah looks ten times better than he really is. He won't make it in the NBA as a starter, at all.If you think it is hard to look at him, try watching him shoot a free throw, that is just as ugly. What kind of shooting form is that?
