I know that I still have some hope that somehow, someway, the best player in the game will get us turned around. Kobe Bryant is such a great player, that when he started getting his teammates more involved then ever before this year, the Lakers won ball games. Now, with injuries to key players like Lamar Odom, Luke Walton, Ronny Turiaf, Kwame Brown, and Vladimir Radmonovic, Kobe has to face one of his biggest challenges of his career. Figuring out a way to adjust his game again so we can win again. It may just as hard to change back to your old ways then it was changing into your new ones. But, if there is one thing Kobe Bryant is, it's smart. He knows how to get the job done, and as a fan, watching him perform over the last 10 years, I know that he has done it before, and I know he can and hopefully will do it again. He has became a leader of this team, and can get guys like Brian Cook, Maurice Evans, Smush Parker, and Andrew Bynum in the right situations to win the game, no matter who we are playing. I believe in this team, although some Laker fans are throwing in the towels already. Well, those aren't the true Laker fans, the true ones know and can sence what's about to happen. Now am I saying Kobe will go try for 81 points? No. I am saying that he has to make sure the Lakers are balanced. We can't take the ball out of Kobe's hands for the first half and let him score 30 in the 2nd half. We have to keep balanced so our opponents will start to double or triple team Kobe, and now we know he isn't afraid to pass the ball to the open guy. All they have to do is make the shot. So don't fall asleep on the Lakers yet, we have Kobe Bryant, and any team, no matter who it is, always seems to be intimitaded playing him, and they know the Lakers always have a good chance to win every game as long as Kobe is on the floor.

There are like 7 games left in the season, don't you think you should have written this a while ago? Before it was a gimme that the Lakers wouldn't slip out of the playoffs.

They keep losing these last few games, they're going to slip and be clamoring for that 8th seed... I have faith in Kobe, I do NOT have faith in the Lakers.

But how will they play in the playoffs? [IMG] Kobe is playing good, but the defense is really poor...
