<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Patriots continued their offseason spending spree, adding wide receiver Donte' Stallworth to their 2007 haul, a league source told ESPN.com's Michael Smith.Stallworth will sign a six-year contract. They might have had the best offseason the league so far. This is a great signing and I hate to say it, but they should make a deep run into the playoffs next year.
This was a great signing by the Patriots, and one that should pay off for them this next season. Having a receiving group that includes Stallworth as the number one guy, the second year guy in Chad Jackson who I believe will be ready to go next year and play awesome, Wes Welker now, and a good tight end to compliment them in Ben Watson and this group of receivers will be good next year. Especially when you put in a passer like Tom Brady, these receivers are going to be set for next year. Watch out for this team once again next year.
What the hell are the Eagles doing? Did they even attempt to re-sign him?Their front-office puzzles me sometimes...This just makes me hate the Pats even more.
Damnit I wanted him. First you guys snatch Wes, then Sammy, now this. Anyways, this is an unexpected offseason by the Pats...usually they'll sit back and sign a few low key guys being sure not spend much money, but this has been the total opposite.

I wanna know why everyone hates the Pats. Their first three Super Bowls weren't won by hoarding all the free agents. This is really the first time we've spent a lot on bringing new guys in.Jealousy?

We better sign our last valuble player whose a free agent. Buckhalter. We've already let go 2 of or key ingredients from last year! This is bulllshit.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Its just natural to hate someone who keeps winning.</div>Yeah, I always get pissed off when people hate on my patriots but then I think to myself, if I were a Cardinals fan or something I would be sick of seeing Tom Brady dominate.Anyway, the Patriots have had the best off-season by far over any other NFL team. And for all you Patriot haters you have to be worried. They were a game away from a super bowl with Resche Caldwell as our #1 wide out. They still have a great running attack, Moroney will be healthy this year and Kevin Faulk is probably the best 3rd down back in the NFL. Now we have Wes Welker, Dante Stallworth. Adalius Thomas to go with our linebacking core and Junior Seau will be back with the Pats this season. Not to mention our young offensive line is turning into one of the best in the NFL. On paper, the Pats have another ring locked up.
Wes Welker and Donte Stallworth...Good lord...If Chad Jackson improves this is a great/deep WR core for Tom Brady. The Patriots are re-loaded for another run. Scary.

I love Buck, and wouldn't mind if he is resigned but I think Corey Dillon would provide more benefits.
