    Sure they are putting the trade talks on hold but they will start up again after they sit down with him. Now that Melo has been teased with playing on a winning team, no way he will want to stay with the Knicks. This discussion will start back up in a week or two.

    Actually, we're one of the few teams with contracts big enough to match salary, and with young talent. I'm pretty sure we're the bastards holding this up, and I think Neil is saying "either take Meyers or no deal."

    They need to clear cap, and if they aren't wanting to move Gordon or Ariza, that leaves guys like Capela to make up those last few million.
