    But the bottom line is that the best front office in the league (and most other teams) were willing to give the MAX.

    I dont know about him being "Olympic Melo" but I believe Anthony would be play with a bit more inspiration in Houston. He doesnt have much to look foward to as a Knick. They are winning a trophy anytime soon. Houston has a chance.

    So now that the Knicks have hired Scott Perry to take over for Jackson maybe this trade can get finished. NYK at last sight was pausing talks and trying to talk Melo into staying and reingaging with the Knicks organization. But, Melo has reportedly spurned them and maintains his desire to be traded to Houston. So, maybe the finish line for this trade is near.

    BTW, I was only half a joking.

    Did anyone else notice Ike was playing on the WAS summer league team? At nearly 34 years old, he's, by far, the oldest player in the summer league. He averaged 11.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg in 17.5 mpg.

    He hasn't played in the NBA in over 5 years. I wonder if WAS, or anyone else, will give him a training camp invite.
